Light Out With Story Time is being offered once a month from 6:30-7:00 for children ages 3-5. Come in your PJs and listen to a story.

Story Hour for children ages 3-5 returns on a new day-Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 2:30.

Dining with Diabetes, a diabetic education & cooking school, is being offered by Purdue Extension, Newton County at the Kentland Public Library on Wednesdays in September from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The cost for the program is $30 for an individual or $45 for a couple planning to share the book. The fee for the program is due at the time of registration. The fee includes materials and a meal. Registration deadline is Aug. 27. During the four weeks you will learn to cook with sweeteners; cook with less fat & sodium, & cook dishes with fruits. In addition you will learn to create a healthy meal plan that works for you plus acquire information to motivate you to adopt positive lifestyle changes. Bunko continues on Thursday mornings from 10-12. Want to join the fun? Join us on Thursday mornings. We still have space for anyone interested in learning the game or just have fun socializing. The ladies are having a great time. Check out the library’s facebook page for pictures.
Youth Squad for Teens for teens ages 13-17. This group provides teens with a chance to offer advice for their peers such as good books to read or websites to visit. It will also allow teens to plan activities, go on outings, compete in contests, and Much Much More! Youth Squad meets on Thursdays from 4:15-5:15 pm. Dates listed below.

Our Lego Club continues!
Come join us at the library for an hour of Lego Fun on Saturday,
Sept. 6 from 10-11 a.m.
