Story Book Walk
Experience reading as a family in the great outdoors! Check out Newton County’s first story book walk at your local park/library. The book “Duck on a Bike” by David Shannon will be on display from Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at Cast Park in Kentland from July 17 through July 27. Once the family has walked/read the story the final frame offers the family an opportunity to take a selfie. After experiencing the walk, stop by the Kentland Library with your phone, show us your picture & receive a goodie bag while supplies last! On rainy or very windy days the story book walk will not be on display so stop by the Kentland Library to read the book in house to receive your goodie bag.
